Kindergarteners are learning more colors and practicing counting and memorizing numbers. The words "garcon" and "fille" are introduced. We will express gratitude with emphasizing the words "Merci" and "s'il vous plait".

First graders are practicing counting to 29, memorizing and reading the numbers 0-10. We are sharing what we are thankful for with expressions starting with "Merci".

Second graders are counting to 40, reading and memorizing the numbers 1-20. We had fun learning Halloween vocabulary. We are working on our reading and writing notebook learning about the sounds that the vowels make. The students can say the alphabet in French and the days and months of the year.

NOVEMBER FRENCH FUN!

Third graders have been counting to 50, reviewing days and months, and learning to memorize the numbers 1-20 and the tens to 70. In November we review body parts and face features, and learn verbs to use in a fun Veteran's Day project. We are also starting to use our reading and writing notebook.

Fourth graders are counting to 100 and are learning the definite and indefinite articles, as well as prepositions. We practice vocabulary related to Veteran's Day. We work on a fun Veteran's Day project that is an opportunity to practice grammar.

Fifth graders are finishing their All about me project. We are reviewing basic grammar, such as articles, prepositions, subject pronouns. We are working on number reading and comprehension all the way to 100. We will work on gratitude with activities ariund the word MERCI.
